TUMC Mixed Bowling League begins September 6th
Correct my friends, bowling [also known as 'fellowship exercise': step, step, slide, talk...] is just around the corner. So ladies and gentlemen, regardless of your average, build a team or join the substitute list. The schedule is on the kiosk and the sign-up sheet is on the table. Start: September 6th, 6:00pm at Gerlachs.
College Students - As you prepare to head off to college this fall please take a minute to give the office staff your new address. Thank you!
MEMBERSHIP
Membership classes for Trinity will begin on September 21 and run through November 2. Reception for new members will be November 9 at the 8:45 service. If you are interested in joining by transfer of Confession of faith, please call Rev. Pieper at 810-664-9941, ext. 103.

FOOD FOR FAMILIES FUNDRAISER
The Lapeer Art Association’s current show, August 9 - September 20, is a benefit for Food For Families. Reception and silent auction, Saturday, August 23, 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. All auction proceeds, and all LAA sales commissions throughout the show, will be donated. In Gallery 194 downtown Lapeer. See the community bulletin board’s flyer.
GARDEN HARVEST SATURDAYS
Each Saturday from now until frost, we are in need of two or three persons to go to the garden on Suncrest Drive to harvest vegetables for Food for Families. There is a sign-up sheet at the Welcome Desk in the lobby. Would you please take a turn to help us receive free fresh food for our ministry of feeding persons in need.
LOVE INC. FUNDRAISER

All men and male guests are encouraged to attend our annual STEAK FRY, Monday, August 4 at the home of Vera and Joe Richard. Bring a dish to pass, dinnerware and $8. Beverage will be furnished! Our speaker will be Dan Bowman. Great food, camaraderie, new friendships. Sing-up sheet in the lobby.

Volunteers to straighten the pews are needed for the upcoming months. It only takes about an hour each week for one month. Sign up with a friend and it takes even less time! The sign up sheet is on the bulletin board across from the office.
ATTENTION VOLUNTEERS
Our flower gardens need you. Please use the ‘sign-up sheet’ in the lobby, to help keep them looking beautiful.
USHERS
We are seeking ushers for our 11:00 a.m. service. You would be seating people as they arrive, giving them a bulletin, counting the people present, passing the offering plates, collecting the Friendship folders and putting the offering in the safe.
