Annual UMW Picnic

Trinity United Methodist Women’s Annual Potluck Picnic will be Tuesday, July 27 at 6:00 p.m. at Darlene Rapley’s home, 156 Lariat Drive.  Please bring a dish to share.  Dr. Nancy Brinker will be guest speaker.  All women are invited.  If you need transportation contact Joanne Ramsey at 810-245-1860.

Imagine No Malaria Sunday

IMAGINE NO MALARIA - (Donations accepted August 8th)

Your Health Committee is supporting this ministry, an area of focus of the United Methodist Church.  $10 buys a net to protect a child from a mosquito bite and their death.  Many nations are beginning to see a sharp decrease in Malaria with this help, however, Haiti is experiencing a dramatic increase due to problems from the earthquake.  Plan to help.  One child means the world to all of us.

Saturday Night Live

Saturday Night Live is sponsoring an evening on Lake Lapeer, August 14th, 5:00 p.m. at Tom & Sue Wojcicki’s home.  It will be a potluck with hotdogs and drinks provided.  Please sign up at the Welcome Desk the dish you will be bringing.

Main Center Mailboxes

As some of you may have noticed, many names from mailboxes have been removed due to a build-up of church communications that have not been taken home.  If you currently do not have a mailbox assigned to your name, please sign the sheet on the Welcome Table.  New assignments will be taking place in the next few weeks.  So please sign the sheet if you wish to have a mailbox to receive mail from the church family and church office.
