Thursday Alive Weekday Service
Help us springboard off our Lenten and Easter services, to start a new weekday service on Thursdays in April. We need people willing to help out from once a year to many times a year. Musicians, skit organizers, performers, speakers, and service organizers are all needed. Sign up in the lobby to show your interest and I will call you. Ken Elwert 245-6653.
Bishop’s Day 2010
Saturday, March 13, Trinity will be hosting both the Flint and Port Huron UMC districts’ Bishop’s Day. Pastors and church members alike can learn how to create “New Places for New Faces.” Registrations are still welcome and being accepted. Forms are available at the Welcome table, however since the deadline has come and gone, lunch CANNOT be guaranteed for late registrants. Saturday “walk-ins” will also be welcome.
Saturday Night Live
Step back in time…Let’s see how much we can remember about TV, songs, movies, books and phrases of yesteryear. Come join the Saturday Night Live Pictionary activity, Saturday, March 20 in Fellowship Hall at 7:00 p.m. Sign-up in the lobby as soon as possible for team building purposes. Lapeer Area Food Pantry Food Drive
Hosted by “Curves for Women” the annual, national food drive in our area will stay in the Lapeer area and be distributed to and through The Church of Christ, Grace Episcopal, St. Paul Lutheran, First Presbyterian and Trinity United Methodist. Take a minute to look in your pantry or toss an extra item or two in your grocery cart and donate to this worthwhile cause. Donations can be placed in the designated drop box here at the church or at the Lapeer Curves, 69 W. Nepessing now through March 31st.
