Graduate Postcard You have almost completed your 34 week Disciple I Study. Please make arrangements to be present on the following 3 dates. Wednesday 6/4 from 6:00-7:30pm Special last class led by our Associate Pastor, Gloria Haynes. Sunday 6/8 at 8:45 and 11:00 am You will be given your Certificates during Graduation Sunday Services. Mission Trip Postcard Please contact Andrea if you are unable to attend ANY date Team Building From 6:00-8:00 pm on Sunday June 15 and June 22 and Wednesday June 18 and June 25 the group will travel in church vans to the home of one of the adult chaperones for Bible Study and Team Building. Don’t Miss the Van—we pull out at 6:00 pm sharp! Commissioning Sunday June 15 in both the 8:45 and 11:00 am Services they group will be “commissioned”. The group will be asked to come to the front of the sanctuary and the pastors will pray for our safety and work.
Parent Information Meeting Get last minute details… what to pack and not pack, emergency contacts, etc. Sunday June 22 at 5:00 pm in the Youth Room
Time to Leave/Return Leave at Noon on Friday June 27. Meet at the church at noon to pack the vans and trailer and then we’ll start our journey to the Lake Traverse Reservation in Sisseton South Dakota! We will return the afternoon of Sunday 7/6. The youth will call as we get close to Lapeer.
Mission Trip “Reflections” Service The youth who went on the Mission Trip will be doing both the 8:45 am and 11:00 am Service on July 20. We will be practicing for that service from 6:00-8:00 pm on Sunday July 13. (Youth should have thoughts to share about the trip written on a note card.)

2008 Youth Mission Trip Travel Itinerary Friday 6/27/08 Noon – 5:30 pm Arrive at church, pack the vans and trailer, send Mission Team off with prayer and travel to St. Paul United Methodist Church in Ludington Michigan. - Travel time w/o stops: 3 ˝ hours Saturday 6/28/08 6:00 am - 6:30 pm Wake early to board the Lake Michigan Car Ferry in Ludington. Depart 9:00 am arriving in Manitowoc Wisconsin at Noon. After lunch in Manitowoc we’ll head west to Lake Street United Methodist Church in Eau Claire for the night. Travel time w/o stops from Manitowoc to Eau Claire: 4.5 hours Sunday 6/29/08 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Travel from Eau Claire Wisconsin to Sisseton South Dakota where the Lake Traverse Reservation is located. Travel time w/o stops: 7 hours Sunday 6/29/08 – Friday 7/4/08 Friday 7/4/08 10:00 am – 4:00 pm Leave Lake Traverse Reservation and head to Bloomington Minnesota and the Mall of America. Travel time w/o stops: 4 ˝ hours
Saturday 7/5/08 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Leave Bloomington Minnesota and travel to Escanaba Michigan where we will stay the night at Central United Methodist Church Travel time w/o stops: 6 ˝ hours
Sunday 7/6/08 9:00 am – 5:00 pm We’ll leave Escanaba to return
home to Lapeer!--Travel time w/o stops: 6 ˝
